Litigation Associate Attorney - California

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least one year of experience to join its California litigation team. This opportunity is available in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement (may offer fully remote).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ years of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • Hands-on experience managing case responsibilities from inception through resolution
  • Experience drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and supporting trial preparation efforts
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery platforms and litigation technology
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven practice
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • A solid academic background
