IT Contracts Manager
A leading Academic Medical Center in New York City is looking to bring on an experienced IT Contract Specialist to join its Supply Chain Management and Legal teams. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of IT-related contracts, including software licensing, SaaS, hardware, and professional services agreements. The specialist will collaborate with legal, IT, compliance, and sourcing teams to ensure contracts meet institutional standards and mitigate risk.
Key responsibilities include managing the full contract lifecycle, coordinating stakeholder input, maintaining contract records, and supporting process improvements. The ideal candidate has five or more years of relevant experience, including three or more years focused on IT contracts, as well as a strong understanding of contract law, including indemnification, IP, and confidentiality terms. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential.
Preferred candidates will have experience in healthcare or academic settings, familiarity with HIPAA and data security, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Candidates must have specific experience red-lining contracts as well. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment offering competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
This role is two days a week on-site in New York City (required), and reports into the Corporate Counsel overseeing Supply Chain Management and IT Procurement needs.
