  • Provide practical, day-to-day employment law counseling to HR and business stakeholders across a broad range of employee relations matters
  • Partner with HR on workplace investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, terminations, and separation agreements
  • Manage employment-related administrative matters, including EEOC complaints, Department of Labor investigations, subpoenas, and document requests
  • Support employment litigation and dispute strategy, including management and oversight of outside counsel
  • Develop and improve employment law training, processes, and resources across the organization
  • Partner with other employment counsel to provide guidance on complex matters and contribute to the overall strategy and development of the employment practice

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience focused on employment law and litigation; prior in-house experience is preferred but not required
  • J.D. from a strong academic institution and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Strong experience advising on U.S. employment law matters and partnering directly with HR
