Structured Credit Associate
Overview
A leading US law firm with a top‑tier global finance practice is seeking a talented Structured Credit Associate (3-6 PQE) to join its London team. The group advises major financial institutions, private credit funds, investment banks, and alternative capital providers on complex, high‑value structured finance transactions across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
- Act for arrangers, originators, issuers, sponsors, and investment funds on a wide range of structured credit and securitisation transactions.
- Advise on CLOs, CMBS/RMBS, ABS, warehouse financings, and broader structured lending structures.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents including offering circulars, trust deeds, indentures, pooling and servicing agreements, note purchase agreements, and security packages.
- Assist with cross‑border deals, including alignment with US regulatory and capital markets requirements.
- Coordinate with other internal teams (banking, tax, regulatory) and external counsel to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, client pitches, and thought leadership where required.
Candidate Requirements
- 3-6 years' post‑qualification experience in structured credit, securitisation, or structured finance, gained from a leading international, US, or Magic Circle law firm.
- Strong technical understanding of CLOs and asset‑backed structures; familiarity with private credit fund structures is advantageous.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage complex, time‑sensitive transactions.
- A commercial, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Comfortable working in a high‑performance, fast‑paced US‑firm environment.
