Senior Legal Counsel - Diagnostics, Singapore
My client is a leading and growing Leading Diagnostics Firm and we are recruiting for a Senior Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the global business on all legal related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of a diverse portfolio of agreements including commercial, public‑sector, distributor, sponsorship, evaluation, confidentiality, and service‑related contracts
- Strategically resolve complex legal matters and customer disputes through informed negotiation and deep subject‑matter insight, while partnering with HR on sensitive labor and employment issues.
- Deliver timely, high‑quality legal and compliance advice, performing advanced analytical, drafting, and consultative work to support business decision‑
- Lead and contribute to major legal and compliance programs, including training design, internal investigations, reporting, and risk‑mitigation initiatives conducted in partnership with compliance teams.
- Drive internal legal and compliance engagement by developing and presenting clear, business‑aligned training content and communications for employees and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification, Singapore or Common law bar-qualified
- At least 8 years of legal experience,
- Preferably experience from medical device, pharma firm
