Our client is seeking a Remote Labor and Employment attorney to joint their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in federal and state court litigation involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
- Provide strategic counsel on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including regulatory compliance, internal investigations, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Advocate for clients before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, DOL, and NLRB.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements, including offer letters, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to thought leadership through client alerts and industry insights.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in good standing in one of the following states:
California, Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, or Texas. - 5+ years of Labor & Employment experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation independently and efficiently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of legal writing and oral advocacy.
- Experience conducting and defending depositions, handling court appearances, and engaging in motion practice.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
