Real Estate Paralegal

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to the legal department across corporate governance, real estate transactions, and a variety of legal projects and initiatives.
  • Draft, review, revise, and manage a broad range of legal documents, including transaction agreements, confidentiality agreements, licenses, and commercial contracts.
  • Assist with corporate and real estate transactions from inception through closing, including due diligence, entity documentation, lien and good-standing searches, execution coordination, and closing deliverables.
  • Track transaction milestones, maintain closing checklists, and follow up on outstanding items to ensure efficient execution and timely completion.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate governance materials, including entity formation documents, operating agreements, resolutions, certificates, assignments, and related organizational records.
  • Organize and manage legal records, templates, contract databases, and transaction files.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal business teams, outside counsel, and other key stakeholders on legal and transactional matters.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting corporate, transactional, or commercial legal matters within a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Background supporting complex corporate transactions, with exposure to commercial real estate matters strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage professionals at all levels of an organization.
  • Adaptable, professional, and confident in interacting with a variety of stakeholders and audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet competing deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience reviewing title reports, surveys, zoning documentation, and other real estate diligence materials is a plus.
