Real Estate Associate
Our client, a well‑regarded group, is looking to add an experienced Associate to its Real Estate practice, focused on commercial lending, in New York.
This team works with a strong mix of banks, insurance companies, institutional lenders, and the finance arms of major conglomerates, supporting them as both lenders and investors on complex real estate finance matters.
The Work
You'll be involved in construction and permanent financing transactions across a range of property types, including:
- Government and private office buildings
- Multi‑family developments
- Energy facilities
- Hospitals and medical office buildings
What They're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of real estate and/or finance legal experience, with hands‑on exposure to:
- Drafting and negotiating mortgages and other common real estate documents
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating real estate loan documents
- Title and survey review
- Managing real estate closings
