Overview:
Our client, a prestigious US law firm with a strong global presence, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate to join its Leveraged Finance team in London.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile, complex, high-value deals for leading financial institutions and credit funds with a strong emphasis on lender-side transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise banks, institutional lenders, and credit funds on leveraged finance transactions, including syndicated loans and acquisition financings.
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, intercreditor agreements, and security documentation.
- Manage cross-border transactions and coordinate with colleagues in the US and other jurisdictions.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on structuring and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in leveraged finance, ideally with lender-side exposure but those with sponsor-side experience will still be considered
- Strong technical skills in loan documentation and market standards.
- Exposure to high levels of responsibility.
- Experience working in a top-tier international or US law firm environment.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- England & Wales Qualified, with traditional UK training or equivalent experience in UK
