CLIENT BACKGROUND
Our client is a well-established Chinese asset management firm with a strong presence in Hong Kong. The organization is known for its dynamic investment strategies and commitment to regulatory compliance. They are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join their in-house team and provide expert guidance on litigation matters.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Advise on litigation and dispute resolution matters impacting the firm's operations.
- Manage and coordinate external counsel for ongoing and potential litigation cases.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to disputes and regulatory issues.
- Provide proactive legal risk assessments and ensure compliance with Hong Kong laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for mitigating legal risks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified lawyer with Hong Kong Bar admission (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong background in litigation.
- Prior in-house experience within financial services or asset management is essential.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory framework and dispute resolution processes.
