Litigation Attorney - Civil Litigation (Hybrid)
We have partnered with a leading civil litigation firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters in the areas of Automobile, Premises Liability, and Labor Law, with a strong emphasis on defense work.
What You'll Do
Manage a caseload from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
Conduct and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, and trials.
Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop litigation strategies.
Maintain regular client communication and provide detailed case updates.
What We're Looking For
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar.
2-10 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in defense.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience with dispositive motions and discovery responses.
