A leading labor and employment law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing Florida offices (Fort Lauderdale/Orlando area). This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3-8 years of experience to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship, professional growth, and hands-on litigation experience.
Labor & Employment Associate Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and employment law and/or general litigation, strong academic credentials, and a demonstrated ability to manage cases in a fast-paced practice. This role offers exposure to sophisticated employment matters and the chance to work alongside accomplished attorneys while developing your practice.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with approximately 3 days per week in-office.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of labor and employment litigation matters
- Assist with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively
- Provide high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of litigation experience; employment litigation experience preferred
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professional development and delivering exceptional client service
- Self-starter with an interest in innovation and technology in legal practice
- Admission to the Florida Bar is required
