Our client is a Top Am Law 100 law firm seeking a Corporate/M&A Associate to join its Corporate Practice Group. This opportunity is open to candidates across the firm's U.S. offices, with a preference for those located in Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of corporate law experience, including significant exposure to mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, transaction management, and drafting transaction documents. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions for public and private companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions while gaining meaningful client interaction and increasing responsibility.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- 3-6 years of corporate law experience with a focus on mergers & acquisitions
- Experience leading due diligence efforts and managing transaction workflows
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including purchase agreements and related transaction documents
- Experience coordinating with specialists and advising clients on corporate and commercial matters
- Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a fast-paced environment
- Current or recent law firm experience handling sophisticated corporate transactions
