About the Opportunity
A leading national law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its established Class Actions, Product Liability & Mass Torts practice. This role is designed for experienced litigators who are passionate about the intellectual and strategic side of litigation, including legal research, brief writing, motion practice, and case analysis.
Working alongside nationally recognized litigators, the successful candidate will contribute to complex disputes involving class actions, product liability claims, multidistrict litigation, mass torts, and other high-exposure commercial matters for sophisticated clients across a variety of industries.
The Role
This opportunity is well-suited for an attorney who enjoys developing legal strategy, producing high-quality written work product, and playing a significant role in complex litigation matters. The Senior Attorney will work closely with partners and litigation teams nationwide, providing substantive support throughout all phases of litigation. The role will be based out of the firm's Houston, Austin, or Dallas office.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and manage substantive litigation filings, including motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Prepare and support dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment
- Handle discovery-related drafting, review, and analysis
- Evaluate large volumes of discovery and evidentiary materials to support case development and litigation strategy
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze evolving case law
- Develop deposition outlines and assist with witness preparation
- Support factual investigations and identify key legal and strategic issues
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions on complex state and federal litigation
- Contribute to class action, product liability, MDL, mass tort, and commercial litigation matters

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience
- Strong background in legal writing and dispositive motion practice
- Demonstrated experience drafting:
- Motions to Dismiss
- Summary Judgment Motions
- Briefs and Legal Memoranda
- Discovery Responses and Objections
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing abilities
- Experience with class actions, product liability, mass torts, MDL proceedings, appellate litigation, or sophisticated commercial disputes is highly preferred
