About the Role
The Paralegal is responsible for managing transactions from contract execution through closing and postâclosing activities, with a strong focus on due diligence, title review, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate brings experience in real estate transactions and enjoys working crossâfunctionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely closings.
Key Responsibilities
Support residential real estate transactions from contract through closing and postâclosing completion.
Coordinate with attorneys, title and escrow providers, and brokerage partners to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Review title commitments, recorded documents, and exceptions to identify risks and ownership issues.
Resolve title defects, liens, and other transaction impediments, including managing payoffs, releases, and corrective documentation.
Analyze homeowners association (HOA) governing documents to identify leasing restrictions, compliance risks, and operational considerations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred.
3+ years of experience supporting real estate transactions, including title review, escrow, and closing processes.
Paralegal certificate preferred.
