A well-established labor and employment practice is seeking an Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to support its growing team. The role involves working with experienced L&E practitioners on a wide range of matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance work. The firm's preference is for the candidate to sit in Oregon, though other office locations may be considered based on fit.
Labor and Employment Attorney Responsibilities:
- Handle labor and employment matters across litigation, counseling, and day-to-day client support
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Participate in hearings, mediations, depositions, and negotiations
- Work directly with clients in a variety of industries
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's L&E group
Labor and Employment Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of experience; general litigation background welcomed
- Active license to practice law
- Prior L&E experience or demonstrated interest in developing an L&E practice
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and deadlines effectively
- Team-oriented with a client-service mindset
