We are partnered with a global medtech org. operating at scale across international markets. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a highly visible role and lead global trade compliance strategy for a complex, regulated manufacturing environment.
Our client is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager. This role will own end‑to‑end trade compliance operations, drive global standards, and ensure compliant execution of cross‑border activity across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global trade compliance strategy, standards, and governance
- Oversee export controls, sanctions, denied party screening, and licensing
- Own product classification, valuation, country of origin, and FTA eligibility
- Serve as SME for customs, audits, and regulatory matters
- Partner cross‑functionally with supply chain, legal, logistics, and finance
- Identify cost optimization opportunities (FTZ, duty drawback, trade programs)
- Develop and deliver internal trade compliance training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of global trade compliance experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of export controls, Incoterms, and customs regulations
- Experience with GTM systems (e.g., SAP GTS, Oracle, ONESOURCE)
- Medical device, ITAR, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred
- Licensed Customs Broker or export compliance certification a plus
