Corporate Paralegal
Our client is a unique and emerging Life Sciences company, delivering the highest standards of product, service quality, and technological innovation. They create solutions for various therapeutics areas, with a particular emphasis on oncology. This is a mission-driven organization with an expansive portfolio of products aimed at supporting a wide range of research areas. Given their portfolio and pipeline, they are seeking a talented Corporate Paralegal to support all legal and compliance functions. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a high visibility role with room for growth and the opportunity to make a direct impact.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and coordinate global governance documents required for the operation of domestic and international entities.
- Independently draft and manage required corporate governance and compliance policies and procedures, and administer related training.
- Perform routine administrative tasks including filing, corresponding with internal and external clients, maintaining electronic copies of all legal documents, and controlling access to authorized individuals.
- Support projects and initiatives to refine and revise global corporate governance and compliance policies to respond to changing legal landscapes and to meet the needs of the business.
- Prepare and file forms with government agencies for the purpose of obtaining information for legal entities and/or ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Paralegal certificate.
- 5+ years within the Legal field, though a combination of in-house and law firm.
- Notary Public license or willingness to become a notary.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
