Our client is seeking an Attorney with 3+ years of experience in construction defect litigation to join its expanding practice. Candidates with experience representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, property owners, and insurers in complex construction defect and related civil liability matters are strongly encouraged to apply.
This position is available in the firm's Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas offices.

Responsibilities
- Defend construction defect matters from inception through resolution, including case analysis, pleadings, written discovery, PMQ and expert depositions, expert coordination, dispositive motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Represent developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and insurers in state and federal courts in matters involving alleged construction defects, property damage, negligence, breach of contract, and related claims.
- Collaborate directly with clients, carriers, and experts to develop strategic, cost‑effective litigation plans, manage exposure, and drive favorable outcomes.
- Stay current on developments in construction defect law, building standards, and construction‑related liability trends, applying evolving legal principles to active matters.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation experience, with a demonstrated background or strong interest in construction defect defense.
- Experience in related areas such as general liability, professional liability, insurance defense, real estate litigation, or commercial litigation is highly valued.
- Proven ability to handle depositions (including PMQs and experts), motion practice (including summary judgment), and client communication with increasing independence.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage cases autonomously while working collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
