AML & Compliance Officer - Banking (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee complex AML investigations, transaction monitoring reviews, and suspicious activity assessments.
- Review and approve KYC, CDD, and EDD cases, including higher-risk customers, sanctions screening, and PEP assessments.
- Support the enhancement of AML policies, procedures, controls, and quality assurance processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Legal, and business functions on financial crime-related matters.
- Assist with regulatory audits, inspections, reporting, and the ongoing development of the firm's AML framework.
Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of experience within AML, Financial Crime Compliance, KYC, or Investigations.
- Experience conducting AML investigations and customer risk reviews.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, financial crime risks, sanctions, and due diligence requirements.
- Previous experience within banking, payments, fintech, asset management, or wider financial services.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
