Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney
Our client, a leading defense litigation law firm with more than 1,300 attorneys in 43 offices nationwide, is seeking a Trust and Estates Associate Attorney for its Madison, NJ office. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Handle matters with minimal supervision
- Research and draft memoranda on complex tax issues
- Advocate tax positions orally and in writing
- Develop and implement estate planning strategies
Qualifications
- JD; LL.M. in Taxation or candidate preferred
- Admitted in NJ; NY and/or FL admission a plus
- 5+ years in estate planning and administration, including drafting sophisticated documents
- Helpful but not required: gift/estate tax returns, trust taxation, corporate/partnership tax issues
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
Salary Range: $200,000-$250,000 plus discretionary bonuses. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits such as 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and generous PTO. Hybrid work arrangements are available to support work-life balance.
