I'm partnered with a highly regarded and growing regional law firm seeking a Senior Real Estate Finance Counsel or Partner to join its expanding real estate and commercial finance practice in Kentucky or Ohio. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney looking to take on a leadership role within a thriving practice that continues to see strong demand from financial institution and lender clients.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions and be comfortable serving as a trusted advisor to banks, private lenders, debt funds, and other financial institutions. This attorney will play a key role in managing sophisticated transactions, growing client relationships, and contributing to the continued expansion of the practice.
Real Estate Finance Attorney Qualifications
* 6+ years of commercial real estate finance experience with significant lender-side representation
* Experience drafting, negotiating, and closing complex loan transactions, including acquisition, construction, development, and permanent financing matters
* Strong understanding of loan documentation, due diligence, title and survey review, and collateral matters
* Experience representing banks, financial institutions, debt funds, and other lenders
* Ability to manage transactions independently and serve as the primary client contact
* Strong business development and relationship management skills
* Kentucky or Ohio bar admission preferred
