We are working with a top tier client seeking a Senior Complex Civil Litigation Attorney with 8+ years of experience to join its dynamic litigation practice. This role is ideal for a skilled litigator who thrives in high-stakes environments and is looking to take on leadership responsibilities in sophisticated civil matters.
Senior Complex Civil Litigation Attorney Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, including trial and appeal.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to each case.
- Manage discovery, draft and argue motions, and oversee case teams.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic counsel.
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice development.
Senior Complex Civil Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in applicable jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in complex civil litigation defense.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale litigation independently or as lead counsel.
- Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with general liability, construction litigation, premises liability, transportation, product liability, or regulatory matters.
- First Chair Trial experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with managing multi-party or multi-jurisdictional litigation.
