Registered Funds Associate
A highly regarded client is seeking a dynamic and driven attorney with 3+ years of substantive experience in the realm of registered investment companies. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside industry-leading attorneys in a collaborative and intellectually curious environment, contributing to high-impact matters that shape the future of asset management and investment regulation. This role will sit in Washington, D.C., however, can be open to candidates in Boston, New York City or San Francisco as well.
What You'll Bring:
- Deep familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
- Experience advising on exchange-traded funds (ETFs), variable insurance products, business development companies (BDCs), investment advisers, and/or commodities-related matters is highly desirable
- Prior experience at a top-tier law firm, regulatory agency, or in-house legal department within the financial services sector is preferred
- A proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence in client service
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of legal experience directly in the registed funds sector
- Bar admission to District of Columbia (or Massachusetts, New York or California if for other locations)
- Juris Doctor from an accreditted law school
