A leading, highly regarded platform is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate finance transactions alongside a collaborative, high-performing group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on a broad range of commercial real estate finance matters, including acquisition, construction, and refinancing transactions
- Represent lenders, borrowers, and/or institutional investors in complex financing deals
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related transaction agreements
- Conduct due diligence, including review of title, survey, and organizational documents
- Coordinate closings and manage transaction timelines from inception through execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external counsel on strategic matters
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials
- 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance
- Experience handling sophisticated financing transactions in a law firm or comparable environment
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
