Our client, an AM Law 100 firm and one of the nation's leading defense litigation firms is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Las Vegas office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys interested in handling sophisticated insurance defense and civil litigation matters while gaining meaningful responsibility and client exposure.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Collaborate with partners and clients throughout all phases of litigation
- Maintain regular communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Nevada bar admission
- 2+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling insurance defense, general liability, transportation, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, or commercial litigation matters
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
