A top‑tier national Labor & Employment practice is seeking mid‑level associates (3-6 years) to join its teams in Los Angeles and Northern California. This is an opportunity to work within one of the largest and most sophisticated employment groups in the country, handling high‑profile litigation and advisory matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employment litigation and be ready to take on meaningful responsibility within a high‑performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation matters, including:
- Single‑plaintiff claims (discrimination, harassment, retaliation)
- Wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters
- Handle all phases of litigation, including motions, discovery, and depositions
- Conduct fact investigations and legal analysis
- Provide employment counseling and strategic advice to clients
- Work closely with partners on complex and high‑stakes matters
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active California State Bar membership
- 3-6 years of employment litigation experience
- Experience with class action and PAGA matters preferred
- Strong writing, advocacy, and client‑facing skills
- Ability to take ownership of matters
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: Approximately $260,000 to $390,000, depending on experience and office
