Labor and Employment Attorney
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Labor and Employment Attorney to join our legal team. This role involves advising clients on a wide range of employment matters, handling disputes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on employment-related issues including hiring, terminations, workplace policies, and compliance.
- Represent clients in employment disputes, administrative proceedings, and litigation.
- Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and internal policies.
- Conduct internal investigations and risk assessments.
- Stay current on changes in labor and employment laws and advise clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams or external stakeholders to support workforce strategies.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
- 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
