Corporate Counsel
We are partnered with a rapidly growing biotech org. entering an exciting phase of commercial expansion. This opportunity offers the unique opportunity to join a small, dynamic legal team while making a meaningful impact on patients and families worldwide.
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Counsel or Senior Corporate Counsel to support a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. This role will report to the General Counsel and work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, providing legal guidance across the business while helping shape governance, contracting infrastructure, and compliance programs within a scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements, including consulting contracts, speaker agreements, NDAs, and vendor services agreements.
- Advise on compliance and risk matters, including federal and state regulatory requirements such as fraud and abuse laws, Anti-Kickback considerations, Sunshine Act reporting, and False Claims Act issues.
- Participate in cross‑functional committee reviews of promotional and medical materials and provide guidance related to commercialization activities.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in a state bar; preference for candidates with experience in life sciences and/or prior in‑house roles.
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate law firm preferred.
- Proven track record drafting, negotiating, and managing life science-related agreements; experience with contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
