Contracts Manager


Role Summary
Supports the business in reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to achieve business objectives while minimizing contractual risk and liability. Leads site compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business teams to review, draft, and negotiate customer and supplier contracts, including major agreements, NDAs, licensing, consulting agreements, and terms & conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal contract policies and applicable laws; collaborate with legal counsel as needed.
  • Interpret contract terms and advise stakeholders on obligations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations with customers, suppliers, distributors, and sales representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. government contracting regulations; support incident evaluation and reporting as needed.
  • Prepare contracts for internal approval and maintain accurate contract tracking and archiving systems.
  • Translate complex legal and commercial concepts into clear business guidance and action plans.
  • Develop and deliver training on key contracting topics for business teams.
  • Continuously improve contract management processes and support broader compliance initiatives.
  • Focus areas may include commercial contracts, government contracts, compliance, and/or intellectual property.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Location Options
The Woodlands, TX; Montgomery, TX; Jurupa Valley, CA; or Brazil, IN.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in contracts management, contract law, or business management, including government contracting and compliance.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract terms, risk management, and regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
  • Skills: Negotiation, conflict resolution, time management, and strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Education: Degree in Law or related field; contract management certification preferred.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCCM, CPCM, or CFCM (NCMA) or equivalent.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain U.S. government clearance may be required.
  • Work Authorization: U.S. Person status required due to export-controlled data.
