My client is a leading and growing Payments and Crypto Firm and we are recruiting for a Head of Global Compliance professional. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust regulatory and compliance framework, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior management on regulatory developments and compliance risks.
Responsibilities for this Chief Compliance Officer - Crypto/Payments role
- Lead and oversee the company's compliance program across all regulated activities.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Serve as the primary compliance advisor to senior management and key business stakeholders.
- Foster a strong culture of compliance across the organization through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements for this Chief Compliance Officer - Crypto/Payments role
- 10+ years of compliance, regulatory, AML/CFT, or financial crime experience within financial services.
- Significant experience within cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, payments, capital markets, brokerage, or financial institutions.
- Proven experience managing regulatory relationships and leading regulatory examinations.
- Prior experience serving in a senior compliance leadership capacity.
- Fluent in mandarin
