About the Role

A licensed digital investment platform regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer to lead its next phase of growth. This confidential hire will take the reins of a platform that caters to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), affluent investors, and institutional clients, offering exclusive access to pre-IPO opportunities, private market investments, and money market funds.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep sales experience, and a proven ability to drive investor engagement and revenue growth in a regulated environment. This role demands full P&L ownership and a hands-on approach to business expansion across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy & P&L Ownership
    Lead the strategic direction and commercial execution of the platform, owning end-to-end business performance and growth.
  • Sales Leadership & Investor Acquisition
    Build and execute a results-driven sales strategy. Source, engage, and convert HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors through a strong network and high-touch approach.
  • Regulatory & License Oversight
    Oversee all activities under the platform's Capital Markets Services (CMS) license, ensuring compliance with MAS requirements and governance standards.
  • Product & Market Expansion
    Capitalize on recent regulatory approvals (e.g., corporate insurance) to launch new investment products and expand the platform's reach in Singapore and the broader APAC region.
  • Strategic Partnerships
    Cultivate and deepen relationships with banks, private wealth platforms, and institutional investment partners to drive deal flow and investor access.
  • People Leadership & Team Building
    Lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: At least 10 years in capital markets, investment platforms, or regulated financial services, ideally within a CMS-licensed environment.
  • Regulatory Credentials: Appointed as a representative with MAS (past or present), with strong working knowledge of SFA, FAA, and Insurance Act.
  • Industry Background: Ideally possesses experience in both insurance and investment banking, with a strong track record in structuring complex investment deals.
  • Start-up Acumen: Demonstrates adaptability and cultural fit for a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment.
  • Sales-Focused: Demonstrated ability to originate and close investment deals, with a strong commercial orientation and investor-facing experience.
  • Networked: Well-connected across private banking, asset management, and institutional investment communities in Singapore and/or APAC.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Deep understanding of MAS regulations and compliance in relation to capital markets and financial product distribution.
  • Track Record: Proven leadership in scaling financial services businesses, managing P&L, and delivering results.
  • Leadership Style: Strategic yet hands-on, with a strong focus on execution, people development, and team performance.
