Capital Markets Associate
A leading international law firm is seeking a counsel or senior associate with 5+ years of capital markets experience to join its highly regarded Corporate Finance and Capital Markets practice. This team advises clients across asset management, private equity, life sciences, and sovereign finance, executing complex financial transactions across global markets. With over 125 attorneys across U.S., European, and Asian offices, the group collaborates seamlessly on domestic and cross-border deals.
The practice is known for structuring and executing innovative transactions, including IPOs, debt financings, and capital raises for private credit platforms. It also has a market-leading reputation in representing sovereign issuers and other participants in sovereign bond offerings. The team is consistently recognized by Bloomberg, The Legal 500, and IFLR 1000 for its achievements and thought leadership.
Ideal candidates will have experience representing issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in public offerings, private placements, and other securities transactions. Familiarity with compliance and reporting under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Exchange Act of 1934 is essential. Experience with business development companies (BDCs) and other 1940 Act funds is a plus. Candidates should be comfortable running key aspects of transactions-from due diligence through closing-and have prior experience at a large law firm.
This is a high-impact role offering direct client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized partners. Salary starts at $365,000+, commensurate with class year and experience.
