- Provide legal support in connection with complex investment transactions.
- Deliver a high level of comprehensive transactional legal support directly to business clients, including responsibility for analyzing, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated legal documentation.
- Review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, and oversee the preparation of bond powers, certificates, and other documentation related to secondary sale transactions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the firm, including operations, investment product and fund services, legal and compliance, portfolio management, tax, and information technology.
- JD from a top-tier Law school
- 6+ years of corporate finance experience, either in private practice or in-house at a well-established asset manager
- Hands-on experience supporting the full lifecycle of private credit investments
- Strong background drafting and reviewing complex commercial loan and investment documents, including private placements and bank loans
- Familiarity with private credit and real estate fund strategies, such as investment grade private placements, asset-backed securitizations, infrastructure, bank loans, and specialty lending
