Job Title: Employment Counsel (Fully Remote)
Compensation: $200,000 - 240,000 + annual bonus
Location: Fully Remote, but must reside in and active bar license in CA,CO, GA, MN, or MO
Summary:
Our client, a nationally recognized Am100 Law Firm, is looking to bring on a California barred attorney to join their Virtual Office (100% Remote) as a Labor & Employment Counsel. The firm reported just under $800 million in gross revenue in 2024 and holds a strong presence with 1,800 attorneys nationally, specializing in labor and employment law. This is an excellent fit for attorneys looking for more of a flexible work environment while maintaining diverse experience in the Labor and Employment space.
This is a non partnership, alternative track opportunity with no business development necessary. Your billable hours will be 1750, but can be altered slightly depending on preference (compensation will be reflective of billable hours chosen.) Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) work will also be a large portion of your responsibilities but you will also be expected to handle cases regarding discrimination claims (race, gender, age), harassment claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, retaliation claims, and breach of employment contracts.
Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of experience in litigation, with preference to specialization in labor & employment law
2. Ability to work in a remote setting
3. Previous experience at a law firm
4. Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited university
5. In good standing with the California, Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, or Missouri bar
6. Located in or willing to relocate to any of the above states
