We are currently partnered with a leading firm seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trust & Estates Associate Attorney with 3 to 7 years of experience to join their growing Private Client Services practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters, and will be comfortable working directly with high-net-worth individuals and families.
Trust & Estates Associate Attorney Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
- Advising clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax strategies.
- Handling probate and trust administration matters, including preparation of court filings and fiduciary accountings.
- Collaborating with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to implement comprehensive wealth transfer plans.
- Conducting legal research and staying current on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Trust & Estates Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Missouri.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in trusts and estates law.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tax planning and charitable giving is a plus.
