Strucured Finance Attorney
My client, a highly regarded finance-focused boutique law firm, is seeking an Associate or Counsel to join its growing Asset Securitization and Structured Finance practice. This opportunity is available in New York, Chicago, Charlotte, or Washington, DC.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions alongside a nationally recognized team. The group represents financial institutions, lenders, issuers, investors, and other market participants across a broad range of structured finance and capital markets matters.
Ideal Background:
- 2-8+ years of experience in a transactional legal practice
- Experience with asset securitization, structured finance, capital markets, securities, leveraged finance, banking, or related finance transactions
- Open to candidates currently practicing in securities, capital markets, leveraged finance, banking & credit, or other finance-focused groups who are interested in pivoting into asset securitization
- Associate and Counsel-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Representative Experience May Include:
- Advising clients on structured finance and securitization transactions
- Representing companies and financial institutions in a variety of financing activities
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, offering materials, and financing agreements
- Advising on secured and unsecured credit facilities
- Counseling clients on acquisitions and dispositions of financial asset portfolios
- Addressing commercial law and securities law issues related to complex finance transactions
- Working with a wide range of asset classes and capital markets products
