We are partnering with a leading global travel and hospitality company to identify a strong legal professional for its Miami-based legal team.
This is a highly visible role supporting consumer sales, marketing, loyalty, promotions, digital initiatives, and customer engagement efforts across the Americas. Working closely with senior business leaders, this attorney will provide strategic legal counsel on consumer protection, advertising, regulatory compliance, and emerging marketing initiatives while helping drive business growth across multiple international markets.
The position is ideal for an experienced in-house attorney who enjoys serving as a trusted business partner, influencing commercial strategy, and advising on complex consumer-facing legal matters in a dynamic, global environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead legal advisor for marketing, sales, and consumer-facing initiatives across North and South America
- Advise on consumer protection laws, FTC regulations, advertising compliance, promotions, loyalty programs, and digital marketing
- Partner with senior business leaders to identify risks and develop practical, business-focused solutions
- Support e-commerce, social media, influencer marketing, and emerging AI-driven customer engagement initiatives
- Draft and oversee customer-facing terms, policies, and disclosures
- Collaborate with global legal teams to ensure consistency across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide strategic guidance on new products, campaigns, and customer programs
Qualifications
- J.D. and active U.S. bar membership
- 7+ years of legal experience supporting marketing, advertising, sales, or consumer-facing business functions
- Significant in-house experience with a large consumer brand
- Strong background in consumer protection, advertising, privacy, and digital marketing law
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leading complex business initiatives
- Prior experience within travel, hospitality, entertainment, media, retail, or other consumer-focused industries is highly preferred
