Senior Commercial Counsel
Our client is a unique and emerging Life Sciences company, delivering the highest standards of product, service quality, and technological innovation. They create solutions for various therapeutics areas, with a particular emphasis on oncology. This is a mission-driven organization with an expansive portfolio of products aimed at supporting a wide range of research areas. Given their portfolio and pipeline, they are seeking a talented Senior Counsel to support commercial growth. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a high visibility role with room for growth and the opportunity to make a direct impact.
Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, and negotiate complex global commercial agreement, including, but not limited to, in and out licensing agreements, supply and manufacturing agreements, collaboration and partnership agreements.
- Provide counsel to Commercial, IT, Finance, Business Development, and HR functions.
- Advise stakeholders on contractual matters and efficiently work with the business to manage risk and resolve contractual issues.
- Collaboratively and proactively build strong cross-functional working relationships.
- Other functions and responsibilities as determined by the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school; 6+ years of legal experience
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
- Experience as counsel in-house at a Life Sciences Company.
- Strong experience with customer, procurement, and vendor transactions.
- In-depth experience negotiating and drafting agreements.
