About the Role
We are partnering with a leading international law firm to identify a talented Associate or Senior Associate to join its established Intellectual Property practice in Germany.
The team advises on complex, cross-border matters at the intersection of innovation, technology, and high-value IP rights. The role offers exposure to sophisticated patent-driven disputes and strategic advisory work across a diverse client base, including multinational corporations and fast-growing technology-driven businesses.
Your Responsibilities
- Advising clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, with a strong emphasis on PATENT LAW
- Supporting and leading patent litigation matters, including cross-border disputes
- Providing strategic advice on IP portfolio structuring, enforcement, and defence
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on complex, multi-forum proceedings
- Working on matters involving cutting-edge technologies and highly technical subject matter
- Assisting in the development of client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
You will work closely with an experienced partner who is deeply involved in high-stakes patent litigation and strategic advisory work, particularly in technically complex industries. The role offers meaningful responsibility early on, including direct client exposure.
Your Profile
- Qualified lawyer in Germany with strong academic credentials
- Experience in intellectual property law, with a focus on patent law and/or patent litigation
- Strong interest in technology and innovation-driven sectors
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work on technically complex issues
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and the ambition to work in an international environment
