A nationally recognized law firm with a growing presence in Los Angeles is seeking a senior‑level Commercial Litigation attorney (Of Counsel or Partner) to join its expanding Downtown LA office. This is a unique opportunity to play a meaningful role in building a high‑level litigation practice handling bet‑the‑company disputes for sophisticated clients across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of complex litigation experience, particularly in product liability, toxic tort, or class action defense, and is looking for a platform that offers strong case ownership, courtroom exposure, and long‑term growth within a collaborative and entrepreneurial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue motions, including discovery, dispositive, and class certification motions.
• Collaborate with clients and trial teams on strategy, risk assessment, and case execution.
• Serve in a client‑facing role and contribute to ongoing client relationships and practice growth.

Key Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 8+ years of experience in complex commercial or civil litigation.
• Experience in product liability, toxic tort, class actions, or high‑exposure litigation strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and take on leadership roles in litigation matters.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with courtroom experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in contributing to a growing team and client base.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: Approximately $250,000 to $330,000, depending on experience and alignment.
