Insurance Coverage Attorney Responsibilities
- Analyze first- and third-party insurance policies; draft coverage opinions.
- Lead litigation in state and federal courts, including declaratory judgment actions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs; oversee discovery and document production.
- Take and defend depositions; attend hearings and mediations.
- Retain and manage experts; delegate effectively to junior staff.
Insurance Coverage Attorney Qualifications
- J.D. and admission (or eligibility) in Georgia.
- Strong first-party property coverage experience required.
- Litigation experience essential.
- Excellent writing, communication, and leadership skills.
