A leading national labor & employment firm is seeking an attorney with 6+ years of employment law experience to join a fully remote practice focused on defending administrative agency charges and employment-related demand matters.
This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated management-side employment work without many of the demands that come with a traditional law firm track. Attorneys in this group focus on practicing law and advising clients, with no business development expectations, no required travel, and reduced billable requirements.
The Role
- Drafting position statements before federal and state agencies
- Responding to agency requests and investigations
- Advising employer clients on strategy and risk
- Handling settlement negotiations and mediations
- Communicating directly with clients throughout the life of a matter
Qualifications
- 6+ years of employment law experience
- Experience handling administrative agency charges on the management side
- Strong drafting skills, particularly position statements
- Experience representing clients in mediations, hearings, or negotiations
- Active bar license in your state of residence
