A well established national defense litigation firm is seeking a Complex Litigation Attorney for its New York office. This hybrid role includes the opportunity to support a Fortune 500 technology company on complex, high exposure matters while working exclusively across a coordinated national team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage litigation matters from early investigation through final resolution
* Collaborate with partners and attorneys across the firm's national team to develop and execute case strategies
* Conduct and defend depositions, participate in mediations, draft motions, appear in court, and assist with trial preparation
* Provide timely and clear updates to clients and internal teams
* Maintain sound judgment and professionalism when working with high profile technology sector clients
Qualifications
* JD from an ABA accredited law school
* Admission to practice in New York
Who Should Apply
* Attorneys with 3 to 8+ years of defense litigation experience, particularly in General Liability, Personal Injury, Transportation, or Catastrophic Injury
* Strong writers and analytical thinkers with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
* Individuals who can manage complex matters independently while maintaining regular client interaction
* Those who thrive in a fast paced, team oriented environment
* Candidates familiar with legal project management, though this is not required
Compensation and Benefits
Final compensation will reflect experience, skills, and business needs. This full time role includes eligibility for discretionary bonuses and access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan.
