We are currently partnered with a highly regarded client seeking an associate to join its Commercial Real Estate Finance practice.
This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established team handling a high volume of sophisticated real estate finance transactions, representing both lenders and borrowers across a range of asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on commercial real estate finance transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine loan structures
- Draft and negotiate loan documents, credit agreements, and related financing documentation
- Manage transaction components from due diligence through closing as part of active deal teams
- Conduct and oversee due diligence, including review of title, survey, leases, and other real estate-related materials
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of various commercial real estate asset classes
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, borrowers, and internal team members to drive transactions forward
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance or related real estate transactional work
- Experience with commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine financing, or similar structures preferred
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and client-facing skill
