Overview
Our Client, a major manufacturer, is seeking an experienced attorney to lead and support mergers & acquisitions, strategic investments, and venture capital transactions. This role partners closely with business leaders, and external counsel to manage deals from initial evaluation through closing and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead legal support for M&A and venture capital transactions.
- Conduct and manage due diligence reviews.
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on transaction documents, including purchase agreements, joint ventures, and investment agreements.
- Review and negotiate NDAs and related commercial agreements.
- Prepare risk assessments and transaction summaries for executive leadership.
- Support post-acquisition integration efforts and related legal matters.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage outside counsel.
- Drive process improvements and provide training on transactional best practices.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
- Significant experience leading and negotiating complex M&A transactions.
- Experience with venture capital or strategic investment transactions preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- $165,000-270,000
