Senior Labor & Employment Counsel
A prestigious AmLaw firm is seeking an experienced Senior Labor & Employment Counsel to join its nationally recognized practice. This role offers the opportunity to advise Fortune 500 companies and emerging businesses on complex labor and employment matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance.
Senior L&E Counsel Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour, and wrongful termination cases.
- Advise on labor relations, union negotiations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Provide strategic counseling on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, etc.).
- Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and handbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workplace investigations and risk management.
Senior L&E Counsel Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to a U.S. state bar.
- 7+ years of experience in labor and employment law at a top law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong litigation and counseling skills; experience with class actions is a plus.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
