About the Team
The Restructuring & Insolvency team advises on complex, high-value restructurings and insolvency matters, delivering practical solutions in challenging situations. The team works with borrowers, lenders, insolvency practitioners, and pension trustees across multiple sectors, including retail, leisure, aviation, and energy. With significant cross-border experience and strong international partnerships, the team provides seamless multi-jurisdictional advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the full spectrum of distressed matters, including options analysis, corporate and financial restructurings, distressed M&A, and formal insolvency processes.
- Experience in bank insolvency, recovery, and resolution strategies.
- Acting for a diverse client base including borrowers, lenders, financial institutions, credit funds, and other financial stakeholders, as well as insolvency practitioners.
- Provide advice across a broad range of sectors such as aviation, real estate, energy and infrastructure, retail, and healthcare.
- Advise on high-profile, cross-border situations across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
About You
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2-5 years PQE in banking and finance law.
- Strong experience in restructuring finance and insolvency.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage transactions independently while working as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
