Remote Labor and Employment Counsel
We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join a national employment law team as a Charges Counsel. This is a full‑time, fully remote position ideal for attorneys with strong management‑side experience defending administrative agency charges who value flexibility without sacrificing challenging, high‑quality legal work.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend administrative agency charges at the federal and state levels from investigation through resolution
- Draft concise, persuasive position statements and written responses to agency requests for information
- Manage and analyze evidence and documentation related to agency investigations
- Communicate regularly with clients and administrative agencies regarding case strategy and status
- Represent clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations
- Independently manage a high‑volume caseload while prioritizing deadlines within a structured workflow
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license and in good standing in the attorney's state of residence
- Minimum of 6 years of employment law experience, including management‑side representation
- Substantial experience handling EEOC and state administrative agency charges
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with a national team
