Remote In-House Counsel (Contractual Basis)
A fast‑growing multi-billion dollar consumer products/retail organization is seeking an attorney on a contractual basis to support a high‑volume contract audit project. We're looking for a 3rd or 4th‑year attorney who can work remotely and handle the review of approximately 900 agreements.
Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, extracting key terms into a spreadsheet, and preparing clear summaries with a fast turnaround. AI tools will be available to streamline the initial review, but the role requires excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work autonomously.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Juris Doctor
- Be a 3rd-4th‑year attorney (JD approximately 2020-2022)
- Ideally bring law firm training and experience reviewing large volumes of commercial contracts
- Be highly detail‑oriented, efficient, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Know when to surface questions while still moving work forward quickly and accurately
- Be available for a week‑to‑week engagement, with flexibility around deadlines and project pacing
